May 27, 2026, Seoul – AIVEX, an industrial Physical AI company, announced that it delivered a presentation titled “Industrial Physical AI Technology Trends and Applications” at AI World Congress 2026 (AWC) held at Ajou University on May 27.

During the presentation, AIVEX explained that the era of Physical AI, where AI perceives, reasons about, and acts within the real physical world, is accelerating beyond Generative AI and Agentic AI. The company emphasized that manufacturing will become a key industry where AI technologies are directly connected to real-world productivity and operational performance.

AIVEX analyzed that the evolution of Large Language Models (LLMs) is expanding into the field of robotics. While LLMs have advanced by understanding and generating language and knowledge through text-based predictive learning, Physical AI is evolving through video and action data, enabling AI to understand, interact with, and operate within physical environments.

The company predicted that robotics will advance rapidly through the development of world models based on physical laws and interactions between objects, as well as learning systems that allow robots to improve autonomously. However, AIVEX emphasized that accelerating the adoption of industrial Physical AI requires advancements in several areas: cost-effective and efficient data acquisition, the establishment of Robot Learning Systems to quickly identify and improve limitations of Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models, and the implementation of multi-robot and multi-equipment control platforms to enhance the efficiency of Physical AI solution deployment.

The presentation also introduced various AI Robotics applications, including:
▲ Palletizing and depalletizing
▲ Pick-and-place operations for irregular and difficult-to-stack objects
▲ Dismantling and handling of irregular objects
▲ Precision assembly
▲ Component loading
▲ Automated insulation material assembly for LNG carriers

AWC is an AI conference organized annually by THE AI, an AI-focused media company. The “AWC: Physical AI” conference, held under the theme “Physical AI, Korea’s Choice — Defining Korea’s Industrial Position Amid Global Competition for AI Leadership,” was successfully held at Ajou University’s Paldal Hall, attracting more than 100 participants from the AI industry and academia.
