AiV, a leading provider of industrial deep learning computer vision solutions, announced that it has successfully raised KRW 21 billion (approximately USD 15 million) in its Series C funding round.

The investment round attracted continued support from existing investors including LB Investment, MW&Company, and JNM Partners, while welcoming new investors such as JB Investment, Kiwoom Investment, DT&Investment, Albatross Investment, Flux Ventures, Mirae Asset Venture Investment, and Samsung Securities.

Since its founding, AiV has rapidly expanded its business by combining proprietary deep learning neural networks with advanced optical engineering technologies. More recently, the company has partnered with Korea's leading collaborative robot manufacturer to develop mass-production robotic solutions, further expanding its business into logistics automation.

The newly secured funding will accelerate AiV's expansion of industrial AI technologies and strengthen its position in the global smart manufacturing market.

AiV has also completed the development of AiVOps, an industrial image data-focused MLOps platform that enables even non-AI specialists to create, deploy, and manage AI models. In addition, the company has developed a data platform that transforms manufacturing inspection and logistics automation data into actionable industrial knowledge. Together, these platforms position AiV as a comprehensive provider of industrial deep learning computer vision solutions.

Sung Minsoo, CEO of AiV, said:

"AiV has been driving innovation in industrial deep learning-based inspection and logistics automation. This investment will enable us to accelerate the commercialization of our MLOps platform and promote broader adoption of AI technologies across the manufacturing and logistics industries."

He added:

"In particular, we aim to automate industrial processes that have traditionally been considered difficult to automate due to technical challenges. By leveraging our deep learning computer vision technologies, we will continue expanding into global markets while delivering next-generation industrial AI solutions."

Founded in 2020, AiV has established itself as a pioneer in end-to-end industrial deep learning computer vision solutions, becoming one of the first companies in the world to successfully deploy deep learning-based visual inspection systems into large-scale manufacturing production lines.
